چکیده

We investigate two statistical detection problems in plasma etch endpoint detection: change-point detection and pattern matching. Our approach is based on a segmental semi-Markov model framework. In the change-point detection problem, the change-point corresponds to state switching in the model. For pattern matching, the pattern is approximated as a sequence of linear segments that are modeled as segments (states) in the model. The segmental semi-Markov model is an extension of the standard hidden Markov model (HMM), from which learning and inference algorithms are presented to solve the problems of change-point detection and pattern matching in a Bayesian framework. Results on both simulated data and real data from semiconductor manufacturing illustrate the flexibility and accuracy of the proposed framework. 200 210 220 230 240 250 260 4500 5000 5500 6000 6500 7000 Time (s) In te ns ity (a .u .) Endpoint in plasma etch process using new modified w-multivariate charts and windowed regression

Endpoint detection is very important undertaking on the side of getting a good understanding and figuring out if a plasma etching process is done in the right way, especially if the etched area is very small (0.1%). It truly is a crucial part of supplying repeatable effects in every single wafer. When the film being etched has been completely cleared, the endpoint is reached. To ensure the desi...

Introducing Busy Customer Portfolio Using Hidden Markov Model

Due to the effective role of Markov models in customer relationship management (CRM), there is a lack of comprehensive literature review which contains all related literatures. In this paper the focus is on academic databases to find all the articles that had been published in 2011 and earlier. One hundred articles were identified and reviewed to find direct relevance for applying Markov models...

Evaluation of the Hidden Markov Model for Detection of P300 in EEG Signals

Introduction: Evoked potentials arisen by stimulating the brain can be utilized as a communication tool  between humans and machines. Most brain-computer interface (BCI) systems use the P300 component,  which is an evoked potential. In this paper, we evaluate the use of the hidden Markov model (HMM) for  detection of P300.  Materials and Methods: The wavelet transforms, wavelet-enhanced indepen...
